The Council proposes to make the following Orders under Sections 1,2,4,32 & 35 and Part IV of Sch. 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended:
(DURHAM CITY (SOUTH WEST)) (PARKING AND WAITING RESTRICTIONS) ORDER 2013 (AMENDMENT NO. 1) ORDER 2018
The effect of this Order is to: (1) extend existing No Waiting At Any Time restrictions on: (a) Briardene from its junction with Margery Lane, on both sides of the road, to a point adjacent to no's 10 & 11 Briardene; (b) at the rear of Nevilledale Terr. in a westerly direction on both sides of the road to a point adjacent to No. 31 Nevilledale Terr.; (c) at the rear of Nevilledale Terr in a northerly direction on the eastern side of the road for 3.5 mtrs to a point opposite No, 28 Nevilledale Terr.; (d) rear of No. 11 Nevilledale Terr. in a southerly direction on the western side of the road for 4.5 mtrs,; (e) introduce a new No Waiting At Any Time restriction at the rear of Nevilledale Terr. from 1 mtr south of No. 30 Briardene between the driveways of No's 30-35 Briardene and 1 mtr north ofNo. 35 Briardene (east side ofroad); (f) introduce two lengths of No Waiting At Any Time on The Avenue across the dropped kerbs at No's 51 & 53. (2) Parking Mon-Sat 8am-6pm Permit Holders or Pay at Machine Display Ticket on: (a) Margery Lane (Zone J) extending 4.5 mtrs south of existing restriction; and (b) Neville Street (Zone O) extending 15 mtrs north of existing restriction; (c) introduce new Parking Permit Holders Only (Zone TB) Mon-Sat 8am-6pm in The Bowers. Restriction (2(c)) also extends into The County Council of Durham (Durham City (North West)) (Parking and Waiting Restrictions) Order 2012
(Amendment No 1) Order 2018.
Restrictions in (2) above and in the Order below also affect The County Council of Durham (Durham City) (On Street Parking Places - Tariffs & Permits) Order 2014 which has been amended accordingly.
(DURHAM CITY (SOUTH EAST) PARKING & WAITING RESTRICTIONS) ORDER 2013 (AMENDMENT NO. 1) ORDER 2018
The effect of this Order will be to introduce Permit Holder only Parking Mon-Sat 8am-6pm in Illingworth Grove (Zone IG) upon completion of construction.
A copy of the above 4 draft Orders & supporting documents may be inspected at Durham Clayport Library & County Hall, Durham during normal working hours and via the Council website.
