ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL
VICTORIA PARK, SHIPLEY TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO 789) ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason to enable gas works proposed to be executed on or near Victoria Park, Shipley intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Victoria Park from its junction with Bingley Road to a point outside No. 7 Victoria Park.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Victoria Park (unaffected section), Fern Hill Road, Grosvenor Road, A650 and vice versa.
The proposed Order will come into effect at 09:30 hours on 17th February 2018 and remain in force until 18:00 on 23rd March 2018 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
