Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Pedestrian Crossing - Lodge Road, Pewsham, Chippenham
Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council in exercise of its powers under Section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 proposes the installation of a Zebra Pedestrian Crossing in Lodge Road at a point 15 metres west of the access to Kings Lodge Community School. A copy of the plan showing the location of the crossing may be inspected at the offices of Wiltshire Council, County Hall, Bythesea Road, Trowbridge during normal office hours. Details of the proposed scheme may be seen at Chippenham Library, Timber Street, Chippenham between the hours of 10am to 7pm Monday, 9am to 5pm Tuesday and Saturday, 9am to 1pm Wednesday and 9am to 7pm Thursday and Friday until 26 February 2018. Documents can also be viewed online at www.wiltshire. gov.uk/troconsultations.htm. Comments on the proposal together with the reasons for which they are made, should be sent in writing or via the website to reach the Sustainable Transport Group by 26 February 2018 quoting reference LJB/TRO/CHIP/HY296.
Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: (a) Hillworth Road (Part), Devizes; from its junction with A360 for a distance of approximately 40m in a westerly direction to enable Wessex Water to undertake works to install a washout. Alternative route via Hillworth Road (unaffected length) - Hartmoor Road - Queens Road - A360 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 28 February 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 2 March 2018. from its junction with Park View Drive to its junction with Walnut Tree Gardens to enable Cappagh Contractors to replace a sewer cover. Alternative route via The Street (unaffected length) - Holborn - The Elms - Washpool - Common Platt - Stone Lane -Church Place - The Street (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 1 March 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required for one day between the hours of 09.30 and 15.30. This Order will come into operation between the hours of 19.00 and midnight on 23 February 2018 and again between the hours of 19.00 and midnight on 26 February 2018. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: (f) Yew Tree Lane (Part), Broad Hinton; from its junction with High Street to its junction with Fortunes Field to enable Thames Water to install new water connection. Alternative route via Yew Tree Lane (unaffected length) - A4361 - Post Office Lane - High Street and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 5 February 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 8 February 2018. This Order will come into operation on 5 February 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required for one day between the hours of 19.00 - 21.00. (Thames Water) on 02089474000; (h) Hen Lane (Part), Sharcott, Manningford;
from its junction with Manor Lane, Manningford Abbots for a distance of approximately 265m in an easterly direction to enable BT Openreach to undertake cabling work for a new customer connection. Alternative route via Manor Lane - C52 Wilcot Road - C261 Woodborough Road - Sharcott Drove - Hen Lane (unaffected length) and vice versa; or via Manor Lane - A345 - Sharcott Drove - Hen Lane (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 5 February 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required for two days between the hours of 09.30 and 15.30. For further information please contact A-Plant Lux Traffic Control on behalf of BT Openreach on 03700500792. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated durations to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are possible due to the nature of some of the works. The Orders will have a maximum duration of 18 months.
