NEWPORT CITY COUNCIL (SKINNER LANE NEWPORT) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2018
Notice is hereby given that Newport City Council in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) intends not less than 7 days from the date of this notice to make an order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along Skinner Lane from the line of the back of the footway on Skinner Street to the line of the back of the footway on Corn Street. An alternative route will be available. The reason for making the order is to allow the conversion of the upper parts of Olympia House. Hoist, skips and materials will be located on Skinner Street. The proposed order will be operative from 5th February 2018 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding 18 months oruntil the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that the works will be completed in 12 months. Emergency vehicle and pedestrian access will be available only from the Skinner Street end of Skinner Lane.

HYSBYSIR trwy hyn bod Cyngor Dinas Casnewydd wrth weithredu ei bwerau o dan y Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 (fely'i diwygiwyd)yn bwriadu mewn nid llai na 7 diwrnod o ddyddiad yr hysbysiad hwn i wneud gorchymyn, a fydd a'r effaith o wahardd cerbydau rhag mynd ar hyd Skinner Lane o linell cefn y droedffordd ar Skinner Street i linell cefn y droedffordd ar Corn Street. Bydd llwybr amgen ar gael.Y rheswm dros wneud y gorchymyn yw caniatau trosi rhannau uchaf Olympia House. Bydd taith, sgipiau a deunyddiau wedi'u lleoli ar Skinner Street. Bydd y gorchymyn arfaethedig yn weithredol o 5ed Chwefror 2018 a bydd yn parhau mewn grymamgyfnod nid yn fwy na 18 mis neu nes bydd y gwaith ybwriedirei wneud wedi ei gwblhau, p'un bynnag sydd gynharaf. Rhagwelir y bydd y gwaith yn cael ei gwblhau mewn 12 mis. Bydd mynediad i gerbydau brys a cherddwyr ar gael yn unig o ben Skinner Street Skinner Lane.
