Herefordshire Council Notice of Making
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, under its relevant powers, have made the C1221 from the B4347 to Cayo Farm, Ewyas Harold, Temporary Closure Order 2017
to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the following road: C1221 from the B4347 to Cayo Farm from the junction with the B4347 from Springetts lane to the A465 to Elmdale Close OS Grid Ref: 339209 / 228480. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the B4347 onto the C1212 onto the C1217 onto the C1221 and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to the safe access to work in the underground structure for a new customer connection and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 30th January 2018 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 1 day.
