Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the C1098 from the A480 to Church Lane, Mansel Lacy Temporary Closure Order 2017 to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles from the junction of Shetton Lane to Ivers Brooke OS Grid Ref: 341447 / 244228. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the A480 on to Station Road onto the C1097 through Bishopstone and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to the installation of a new water connection and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 19th February 2018 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
