Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the U72416 Cotts Lane, Lugwardine Temporary Closure Order 2017 to
temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles from the juction of Court Close for approximately 100m OS Grid Ref: 354622 / 241560. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the A4103 onto the C1130 onto the A438 onto Cotts Lane and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to the installation of a new sewer connection to serve a new development and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 19th February 2018 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 2 days.
