THE A303 TRUNK ROAD
(DEPTFORD TO LONGBARROW)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC)
ORDER 2018
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Highways England Company Limited (a) has made an Order on the A303 trunk road from Deptford to Longbarrow in the County of Wiltshire to allow resurfacing, loop cutting, white lining, surveys and associated maintenance works to be carried out in safety. The works are expected to take place overnight (8pm - 6am) commencing on or after 12 February 2018 and be completed by 3 March 2018.
The effect of the Order will be:
(a) the overnight closure of the A303 eastbound and westbound between Deptford Junction and Longbarrow Roundabout;

(b) the overnight closure of the A303 eastbound entry slip roads from the A36 at Deptford Junction;

(c) the closure of the laybys on the above

section of the A303.
During the closure described at (a) and (b)
above traffic will be diverted via the A360,
The Avenue, the A30 and the A350.
The closures (which will not apply to emergency
service, traffic officer or works vehicles)
and diversion route will be clearly indicated
by traffic signs throughout the works.
The Order will come into force on
10 February 2018 and have a maximum
duration of 18 months.
