CONFIRMATION OF PUBLIC PATH ORDER

CHERWELL DISTRICT COUNCIL NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION OF PUBLIC PATH ORDER TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT, 1990, SECTION 257 & PARAGRAPH 7 OF SCHEDULE 14 MIXBURY FOOTPATH NO.9 (PART) DIVERSION
ORDER 2017
On 17 January 2018, Cherwell District Council confirmed the above Order.
The effect of the Order as confirmed is to divert the section of Mixbury Public Footpath No.9 which runs for approximately 26m and commences at National Grid Reference (NGR) SP 60749 33671 (point A on the order map), to NGR SP 60774 33667 (point D on the order map) and create an alternative
footpath for use as a replacement on to a line which runs for approximately 41m and commences at NGR SP 60749
33671 (point A on the order map), to NGR SP 60774 33667 (point D on the order map), where it re-joins on to the existing line of Mixbury Footpath No.9 as indicated on the
order map and described in the schedule to the Order. Copies of the confirmed Order and Map have been deposited and may be seen free of charge at the main reception,
Cherwell District Council, Bodicote House, Bodicote and Franklins House, Wesley Lane, Bicester from 9am to 4pm (weekdays). Copies of the Order and map are available for purchase at a cost of 50 pence. Alternatively, an electronic copy is available and can be e-mailed upon written request to prow@cherwellandsouthnorthants.gov.uk . There is no
charge for an e-mailed version.
This Order came into force on 16 January 2018, the date on
which Cherwell District Council certify that the terms of Article 2 of the Order have been complied with but if any
person aggrieved by the Order decides to question its validity
or that of any provision contained in it on the ground that it is not within the powers of the above Act, or on the ground that any requirement of that Act or any regulation made under it has not been complied with in relation to the confirmation of the Order, he or she may apply to the High Court for any of these purposes under section 287 of the
Town and Country Planning Act 1990 within 6 weeks from
the date on which notice is first published as required by paragraph 7 of Schedule 14 to the Act.
