ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL
SOUTHFIELD LANE GREAT HORTON BRADFORD TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO 785) ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason to enable water works proposed to be executed on or near Southfield Lane, Great Horton intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Southfield Lane from a point outside No. 298 Southfield Lane to a point outside No. 308 Southfield Lane.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Southfield Lane (unaffected Section), Hudson Avenue, A6177 Cross Lane, A647 Great Horton Road and vice versa.
The proposed Order will come into effect on 5th February 2018 and remain in force until 6th February 2018 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
