NOTICE OF PUBLIC PATH STOPPING UP ORDER
PUBLIC PATH STOPPING UP ORDER TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990, SECTION 257 THE COUNTY COUNCIL OF DURHAM (UNRECORDED FOOTPATH AT PICKTREE LANE, CHESTER-LE-STREET) PUBLIC PATH STOPPING UP ORDER 2018
The above order was made on 18/01/18. The effect of the order will be to stop up the unrecorded footpath running from a point on Picktree Lane proceeding generally north westerly to the car park of the former Civic Centre, to be replaced with a permissive route subject to planning permission, as shown on the order map.
A copy of the order and the order map may be seen free of charge at Chester-le-Street library and the Council's Offices at County Hall, Durham during normal opening hours and via the Council website. Copies of the Order and map may be bought there at the price of £1.15. Any representation about or objection to the Order may be sent or delivered in writing addressed to Loraine Holding, Legal Assistant, County Hall, Durham, DH1 5UL, no later than 22/02/18. Please state the grounds on which it is made. If no such representations or objections to the Order are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, The County Council of Durham may itself confirm the Order as an unopposed order. If the order is sent to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for confirmation any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the order.
(SHINCLIFFE, HIGH SHINCLIFFE & BOWBURN) (PARKING AND WAITING RESTRICTIONS) ORDER 2014 (AMENDMENT NO. 1) ORDER 2017
On 18/01/18 the Council made an Order under Sections 1, 2 & 4 & Pt IV of Sch. 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("RTRA"), as amended, the effects of which come into operation on 29/01/18 and introduces a No Waiting At Any Time restriction in and across the access to John's Timber Unit 1 Bowburn North Ind. Estate Road. Full details are contained in the sealed Order which may be inspected at Bowburn Library & County Hall, Durham during normal opening hours & via the Council website. Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by "RTRA", or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or of any regulation made under it has not been complied with may, within 6 weeks from 25/01/18, apply to make an application for that purpose to the High Court.
(TOWNELEY STREET / REAR FRONT STREET, STANLEY) (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2018
The Council on 18/01/18 made an Order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, as amended, to close to all vehicular traffic a 40m length of rear Front Street that extends south westerly from the posts adjacent to the Bus Station, Stanley to enable new junction and road and kerb-line works in association with the new Aldi development to be undertaken. The maximum duration of the temporary closure under the Order is 18 months and is required from 29/01/18 and for the duration of the works, anticipated to be 12 weeks. However, on rare occasions, alternative dates for closures may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly. Alternative route: There is no alternative route available.
(SOUTH BAILEY, DURHAM CITY) (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2018
The Council on 18/01/18 made an Order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, as amended, to close to all vehicular traffic a 90m length of South Bailey, Durham City between nos 8-12 to enable telecom duct installation works to be undertaken. The maximum durationofthe temporary closure under the Orderis 18 months and is required from29/01/18 and for the duration of the works, anticipated to be 4 weeks (9am - 4pm daily). However, on rare occasions, alternative dates for closures may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly. Alternative route: There is no alternative route available.
