Dorset County Council
The County of Dorset (Various Roads in the District of West Dorset) (Consolidation of Orders Made for the Regulation of Traffic) Order 2014 (Amendment Order No. , 201') The Street, Charmouth - Prohibition of Waiting Dorset County Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 1(1) and (2), 2(1) to (3), 3(2), 4(1) to (3) and I24(l)(d) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ('the Act of 1984') and the Traffic Management Act 2004 and of The Local Authorities' Traffic Orders (Procedure) (England and Wales) Regulations 1996 and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with statutory requirement and in compliance with the 1996 Regulations. The effect of the Order will be to extend the double yellow lines on both sides of The Street near Bridge Road.

Full details of this proposal is contained in the Draft Order which, together with a plan showing the lengths of road affected and a statement of the County Council's reasons for proposing to make the Order, may be inspected from Monday to Friday during normal office hours at the Main Reception, Dorset County Council, County Hall, Colliton Park, Dorchester.
