WIGAN COUNCIL Leigh No 172 (Part) Temporary Diversion Notice of Proposals
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Director of Infrastructure Places Directorate of the Wigan Borough Council In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and delegated to him by the said Council proposes to make the Wigan Borough (Leigh No 172 (Part)) (Temporary Diversion) Order 2018. The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any person except upon the direction or with the permission of a police constable use Leigh No. 172 part, from Point A as shown on the Order Map at grid reference 363464 398693 to Point B as shown on the Order Map at grid reference 363738 398550 for a distance of approximately 315 metres in a generally south easterly direction. An alternative route is available via the existing public rights of way network from Point A on the Order Map in a generally southerly direction for a distance of approximately 543 metres to Point E on the Order Map at grid reference 363486 398212 then easterly for a distance of approximately 430 metres to Point D on the Order Map at grid reference 363904 398331, then north for a distance of approximately 135 metres to Point C on the Order Map at grid reference 363891 398453 to Point B in a north westerly direction for approximately 185 metres. This Public footpath will be closed for a period of two weeks commencing on 12th February 2018 to safeguard the public whilst a footbridge is refurbished.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Assistant Director Infrastructure of the Wigan Borough Council in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and delegated to him by the said Council proposes to make the Wigan Borough (Alexander Street) (Temporary Closure) Order 2018. The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any person from driving a vehicle or causing or permitting a vehicle to be driven in Alexander Street, Tyldesley from house number 17 to 43 during the period of 5th March -18th June 2018. The alternative route for traffic is:- Norris Street - Manchester Road - New Bank Street.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Assistant Director Infrastructure of the Wigan Borough Council in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and delegated to him by the said Council proposes to make the Wigan Borough (Mosley Common Road) (Temporary Closure) Order 2018
The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any person from driving a vehicle or causing or permitting a vehicle to be driven in Mosley Common Road on 15th April 2018.
The alternative route for traffic is:- East Lancashire Road - Chaddock Lane -Manchester Road - Church Road - Hough Lane - Manchester Road - Mosley Common Road.
The Order is necessary to repair frame and cover in carriageway.
