ORDER 2017 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Watford Borough Council, acting as agents for the Hertfordshire County Council, has made the above mentioned Order under Sections 1, 2, 4, 32, 35, 45, 46, 46A, 47, 49, 51 and 53 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order would be to amend the existing Traffic Regulation Orders so that: In Central and West Watford (i) The occupiers of residential and non-residential premises situated at the following sites of new development will be ineligible to receive residents’, business and other street parking permits issued under the Watford Controlled Parking Zones Scheme:- Zone A - 37B & 37C St Johns Road (4 houses and 2 flats); Café, Verulam Passage (conversion to residential); 14 & 16 Westland Road (5 flats); Zones B/C - 104 Estcourt Road (5 flats at rear); 55 Queens Road (8 flats); 71/73 Queens Road (2 flats at rear); rear of 80 Queens Road (2 houses); 7 Woodford Road (5 flats); 27 Woodford Road (38 residential units); Zone D - 21 Essex Road (6 flats); 32 Langley Road (conversion to 3 flats); 35 to 55 St Albans Road (14 flats); Zone F - 1 Hamilton Street (9 houses); Zone H - High Street - 58 (4 first floor flats); 68 (2 first floor flats); 76 (4 flats on first & second floors); 140 (first floor converted to 3 residential units); 158 (residential flat in new building); 8 & 8A Market Street (extension of 3 flats); The Parade - 11 to 21 (9 upper floor flats); 49 to 53 (extension above of 6 flats); JSA House, 110 (3 flats in second floor extension); 112 & 114 (15 flats); 135 (first & second floor flats); Zone K - 1 Brightwell Road (4 flats); Zone M/N - 84 Mildred Avenue (3 flats); Zone S - 29 Burton Avenue (5 flats); Zone T - 142A & 144 Hagden Lane (9 apartments), The measures are in accord with the Council’s policies to reduce the impact of new development on existing residents’ on-street parking facilities Copies of the Orders which come into operation on Monday 26th February 2018, together with the statements of reasons for making the Orders and plans showing the lengths of road to which the Orders relate, may be inspected from 8.45am to 5.15pm on Monday to Thursday and 8.45 am to 4.45 pm on Friday at the Customer Service Centre, Town Hall, Watford. Any person wishing to question the validity of the Orders, or of any provision contained in them on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act or any Instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Orders, may within 6 weeks from the date of this Notice apply to the High Court for this purpose.
