BRIGHTON AND HOVE CITY COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER - MIDDLE STREET, BRIGHTON
1. NOTICE is hereby given that Brighton & Hove City Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order pursuant to powers in Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended which when it comes into force will have the following effect:-
(a) The temporary closure of Middle Street, Brighton from its junction with Kings Road to its junction with South Street
(b) For the duration of the closure it will be necessary to reverse the Oneway Traffic Order on Ship Street from it junction at Kings Road to its junction at Duke Street; Duke Street from its junction at Ship Street to its junction at Middle Street and the remaining length of Middle Street to maintain access.
2.The Order is necessary to allow Southern Water's contractors to carry out
repairs to a sewer.
3. Pedestrian access will be maintained.
4. This Order comes into force on 1st February 2018 for eighteen months or until such sooner time as the works are completed.
