Herefordshire Council Notice of Making
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, under its relevant powers, have made the U70241 Burton Road, Linton Ross on Wye, Temporary Closure Order 2017 to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the following road: U70241 Burton Road between Bayton House and Pinton Farm OS Grid Ref: 366118 / 224890. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the C1280 onto the B4224 onto the B4221 onto the U70240 Revells Lane onto the U70239 Hereford Lane and vice versa. The said closure is required due to the installation of a new water service connection and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 1st February 2018 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
