ENVIRONMENT AGENCY ANNOUNCEMENT OF INTENTION NOT TO PREPARE AN ENVIRONMENTAL STATEMENT (Regulation 5 of the Environmental Impact Assessment (Land Drainage Improvement Works) Regulations 1999 as amended by SI 2005/1399 and SI 2006/618
Hydrometry & Telemetry Improvements The Environment Agency gives notice that it proposes to carry out hydrometry & telemetry improvement works to Sanigre Pill tidal outfall (NGR: SO6666201314); to Berkeley Pill tidal outfall (NGR: ST6667199886); and to Clapton Pill tidal outfall (NGR: ST6436498323). The proposed improvement works will involve the following: improvements to hydrometry & telemetry equipment to improve monitoring of river conditions. The Environment Agency considers that the improvement works are not likely to have significant effects on the environment and does not intend to prepare an environmental statement in respect of them. Designs and specifications of the improvement works are available, and can be viewed during normal office hours at the local Environment Agency Office (Rivers House, East Quay Bridgwater, Somerset TA6 4YS). Any person wishing to make representations in relation to the likely environmental effects of the proposed improvement works should do so, in writing, to the address specified below, within 28 days of the date of publication of this notice.
