Notice of Temporary Traffic Order Headington, Staunton Road Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 16 June 2017 New Closure Date: 12 February 2018 This Order was introduced because of major road works affecting the JR Hospital mini roundabout in Headley Way. The anticipated completion date is now the 12 March 2018. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in in Staunton Road (at its junction with B4495 Headley Way). There will also be reduced lane widths in Headley Way. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works. The alternative route for traffic is via Jack Straws Lane - B4I50 Marston Road - B4495 Headley Way and vice-versa. This Order remains in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner.
