The Scottish Borders Council
(C7 Kilbucho) (Temporary Closing) Order 2018

The Scottish Borders Council have made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 29 January 2018 and is expected to remain in effect until 2 February 2018 - 24 hour closure. The Order is required for BT Openreach network upgrade works.
When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive, or cause, or permit to be driven any vehicle along the C7 from its junction with the A701 to Kilbucho Place. The alternative route for westbound traffic is via the A701, A7016, A702, Station Road and Boghall Road in Biggar and the C7 to the point of closure, for eastbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.
Access for pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained with minor delays. B FRATER, Service Director Regulatory Services
