(IVESTON LANE, IVESTON. CONSETT) (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2018
The Council on 11/01/18 made an Order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, as amended, to close to all vehicular traffic a 980m length of Iveston Lane between its junctions with A691 and Stoneyheap Lane/Lunds Lane, Iveston to enable carriageway patching works to be undertaken. The maximum duration of the temporary closure under the Order is 18 months and is required from 22/01/18 and for the duration of the works, anticipated to be 9 days. However, on rare occasions, alternative dates for closures may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly. Alternative route: from the western side of the closure from A691 south easterly then northerly on Gorecock Lane and Lunds Lane to the eastern side of the closure, and vice versa.
