(20 MPH SPEED LIMIT) (LANGTON ROAD, NORTON-ON-DERWENT) ORDER 2018
NOTICE is hereby given that on 09/01/2018 North Yorkshire County Council made an Order under Sections 84(1) and (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which is to prohibit any motor vehicle from travelling at a speed in excess of 20 miles per hour on the C351, Langton Road, Norton-on-Derwent from a point 9 metres north west of the centre line of its junction with Langley Drive, to a point 22 metres north west of the centre line of its junction with St. Peter's Crescent - the Order extends the 20 mph speed limit on Langton Road by revoking part of the existing 2005 Order.
A copy of the Order, which comes into operation on 22/01/2018, may be examined at County Hall, Northallerton and at Norton Hive Library, 86 Commercial Street, Norton, Malton, North Yorkshire YO17 9ES during normal office hours from 17/01/2018 until 20/02/2018 and also viewed online at www.northyorks.gov.uk/notices.
PROPOSED SPEED CUSHIONS - LANGTON ROAD,
NORTON-ON-DERWENT
NOTICE is hereby given pursuant to Section 90C of the Highways Act 1980 that North Yorkshire County Council proposes to introduce a pair of speed cushions outside No 99 Langton Road, Norton-on-Derwent - each speed cushion will be 75 mm high, 3000 mm long and 1700 mm wide.
(PROHIBITION OF WAITING AND LOADING AND PROVISION OF PARKING) (DISTRICT OF RYEDALE) (AMENDMENT NO 7) ORDER 2018
NOTICE is hereby given that North Yorkshire County Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4(2), 32(1) and 35(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act and under the Traffic Management Act 2004, the effect of which will be to amend "North Yorkshire County Council (Prohibition of Waiting and Loading and Provision of Parking) (District of Ryedale) Consolidation Order 2013" by introducing and extending 'No Waiting at any time' restrictions on the east side of the C351, Langton Road, Norton-on-Derwent from a point 40 metres north of the centre line of the church car park access, south for a distance of 56 metres and from a point 30 metres south of the centre line of the church car park access, south for a distance of 10 metres.
A copy of the draft Order, together with a map showing the road affected and a statement of the Council's reasons for proposing to make the Order and a copy of the relevant drawing showing the location of the proposed speed cushions may be inspected at County Hall, Northallerton and at Norton Hive Library, 86 Commercial Street, Norton, Malton, North Yorkshire YO17 9ES during normal office hours from 17/01/2018 until 09/02/2018 and also viewed online at www.northyorks.gov.uk/notices.
