THE HERTFORDSHIRE (TEMPORARYCLOSING OF A411 CHALK HILL, OXHEY) ORDER 2018
NOTICE is given thatthe Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all traffic from using thatlength of A411 Chalk Hill, Oxhey from its junction with Villiers Road westwards to its junction with B462 Aldenham Road ("the Road"), adistance of approximately 70 metres, except for access. An alternative route will be via A411 (Chalk Hill/London Road/High Street/Sparrows Herne/ Elstree Road), A41 (Tylers Way/Elton Way/North Western Avenue), A4008 (Stephenson Way/ Waterfields Way) and A411 (Lower High Street/Chalk Hill).
The Order is needed because water service connection works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 22 January2018 for aperiod of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at thetimes indicated by signs on or near the Road.
Acopy of the Order may be inspected free of charge at County Hall, Hertford between the hours of 9.00am and 5.00pm (excluding weekends, bankand public holidays). NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council in order to improve road safety propose to make Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to introduce waiting restrictions and aone way traffic restriction in part of Watford as specified in the Schedules to this Notice. Documents giving more detailed particulars of the proposals may be inspected from 19 January2018, by visiting in person, during normal office hours, the offices of Parking Shop, Watford Borough Council, 71/73 Market Street, Watford, or Main Reception, Hertfordshire County Council, County Hall, Pegs Lane, Hertford; or may be viewed on line at www.hertfordshire.gov.uk/trafficorders  by selecting Watford and looking at Ref: W01117. SCHEDULE1: No waiting at anytime -effecting those sections of road here in listed and as set out in the Order and accompanying plan - Parts of A41 North Western Avenue, Purbrock Avenue and 9U765/10 St Albans Road (Service Road).
SCHEDULE 2: One way traffic (westbound) - effecting that section of road here in listed and as set out in the Order and accompanying plan -9U765/10 St Albans Road (Service Road) from 9U765/20 (link to Dome Roundabout) to junction with Purbrock Avenue.
