Notice of Making (Park Lane, Stamford Road, Little Bollington) (Prohibition Of Waiting) Order 2018
Notice is hereby given that on the 11th January 2018 Cheshire East Borough Council made an Order under Sections 1, 2 and 4 and Part III of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and all other enabling powers and in accordance with its duty with Section 122 of the said Act.

1. The effect of the Order, which will come into operation on 17th January 2018, will be to introduce a prohibition of waiting by vehicles at all times on all days on the following lengths and sides of roads in Knutsford:-

Stamford Road (Both sides) - Both sides from its junction with Park Lane in a westerly direction for a distance of 10 metres. Park Lane (West side) - West side from a point 274 metres north of its junction with Lymm Road in northerly direction for a distance of 135 metres; from a point 100 metres north from the northern kerbline of Stamford Street in a northerly and north westerly direction for a distance of 12 metres. Park Lane (East side) - East side from a point 274 metres north of its junction with Lymm Road in a northerly direction for a distance of 200 metres Park Lane (North side) - Northern side from a point 140 metres south east of the north west termination of Park Lane in a south easterly direction for a distance of 10 metres; from a point 165 metres south east of the north west termination (Aqueduct side) of Park Lane in a north easterly, northerly, and north easterly direction for a distance of 22 metres. Park Lane (South east side) - South eastern side from a point 22 metres south west of the north eastern termination (River Bollin side) of Park Lane in a south westerly direction for a distance of 11 metres.

Park Lane (East and South side) - Eastern and Southern side (triangular traffic island) from a 88 metres north of the northern kerbline of Stamford Road in a northerly and easterly direction for a distance of 30 metres.

2. A copy of the Order, a map showing the restricted area, a statement of reasons for making the order, a copy of this public notice and a copy of the public notice of the proposal to make the order may be examined during the usual office hours at the offices of Cheshire East Borough Council at Westfields, Middlewich Road, Sandbach CW11 1HZ and at the and at the Knutsford Public Library.

3. Any person who desires to question the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Act, or any requirement of the Act or any instrument made under the Act has not been complied with, that person may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order is made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.
