TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC ROWDEN ROAD

LONDON BOROUGH OF BROMLEY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 AS AMENDED -Section 14
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC ROWDEN ROAD BECKENHAM NOTICE OF MAKING AN ORDER
1. The Council of the London Borough of Bromley HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that in order for new drainage to be installed to a new property development THEY HAVE MADE an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following restrictions on vehicular traffic:-

Rowden Road Beckenham will be closed to through traffic for up to two weeks from Monday 22nd January 2018. The point of the closure will be at the junction with Chaffinch Road Beckenham outside the former Rowden Works site adjacent to 60 Rowden Road.
Displaced traffic will be diverted via:-Chaffinch Road

2. THE prohibitions referred to in paragraph 1 above shall apply only during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

3. THE Order will come into effect on Monday 22nd January 2018 with no specified finish date.

4. ALTHOUGH the Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months, it is expected that the works will take up to two weeks to complete and will begin on or after the commencement date of the Order.

5. NOTHING in this Order shall apply to anything done with the permission or direction of a Police Officer or Traffic Warden.

6. THE restriction referred to in this Order shall not apply to vehicles being used in connection with the work.

7. ACCESS to properties will be maintained as far as is practicable from either side of the closure as appropriate. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Emergency access and egress routes will be maintained at all times.

LONDON BOROUGH OF BROMLEY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 AS AMENDED -SECTION 14 (1) (c) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC NOTICE OF MAKING AN ORDER CAR PARK ADJACENT TO 65 CRAMPTON ROAD PENGE

1. THE Council of the London Borough of Bromley HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that in order for Network Rail to make essential major maintenance to the railway line which runs alongside Crampton Road Penge. THEY HAVE MADE an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following restrictions on vehicular traffic:-

(1) WAITING VEHICLES
No person shall, until the works are completed, cause or permit any vehicle to wait in the Car Park area adjacent to Crampton Road Penge.
Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction on waiting imposed by this Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986, or by the Council in accordance with the powers conferred upon it.

(2) PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC
No person shall, until the works are completed, cause or permit any vehicle to proceed into the Car Park area adjacent to 65 Crampton Road Penge.

2. THE prohibitions referred to in Paragraph 1 above shall apply only during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

The Bromley (Waiting and Loading Restriction) Order 2003 (Amendment No. 176) Order 2018. The Bromley (Loading Places) Order 2009 (Amendment No. 21) Order 2018.
The Bromley (Controlled Parking) (On Street Places) Order 2004 (Amendment No. 99) Order 2018. (Various Locations)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Bromley on 9th January 2018 made the above-mentioned Orders under Sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Section 8 of and Part 1 of Schedule 5 to the Local Government Act 1985, and of all other powers thereunto enabling, which will come into operation on 22nd January 2018.
The effect of the Orders would be to:-
(a) introduce/extend waiting restrictions as specified in the Schedule to this notice;

(b) introduce a loading/unloading bay as specified in the Schedule to this notice;

(c) extend the existing permit parking scheme in Chatterton Village, Bromley to include that section of Victoria Road as specified in the Schedule to this notice.

(d) introduce free parking places as specified in the Schedule to this notice;

(e) make minor amendments to the waiting and loading restriction Order to reflect current positions on-street.

A copy of the Orders may be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays at the Bromley Civic Centre, Stockwell Close, Bromley, Kent until the expiration of a period of 6 weeks from the date of making the Orders. ANY person wishing to question the validity of the Orders or of any of their provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the relevant enabling Act or that any requirement of any such enabling Act or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with, may within 6 weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court. ALBEMARLE ROAD, Beckenham, (a) the south side, from a point 7m west of the south western kerbline of Downs Bridge Road eastwards to a point 16m east of the north eastern kerbline of Downs Bridge Road; (b) the north side, from a point 10m west of the south western kerbline of Downs Bridge Road eastwards to a point 10m east of the north eastern kerbline of Downs Bridge Road.
