PROPOSED EXTENSION OF LLOYD PARK CAR PARK, CROYDON The Croydon (Off Street Parking Places) (Limited Time) (No. 1) Traffic Order 2018
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council on 15 January 2018 made the above Traffic Order under Sections 32, 35, 124 of, and Parts I to IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended and all other enabling powers.
2. The general effect of the Order will be to amend the area of Lloyd Park car park, as described in the Traffic Order, to include the new car park to the north of the tennis courts, constructed as part of the National Grid tunnel works. Parking arrangements within the amended car park would remain the same (a maximum stay of 3 hours, no return within 1 hour, on a 24 hour basis).
3. Copies of the Order, which will come into operation on 22 January 2018, can be inspected from 9am to 4pm, on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Order was made, at the Enquiry Counter, "Access Croydon" Facility, Bernard Wetherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CRO 1 EA.
4. Copies of the Order may be obtained from the Order Making Section, Parking Design, 6th Floor, Zone C, Bernard Wetherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CRO 1 EA.
5. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made there under have not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.

PROPOSED INTRODUCTION OF AN OFF-STREET CAR PARK COLLEGE ROAD, CROYDON The Croydon (Off Street Parking Places) (No. D2) Traffic Order 20-
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council propose to make the above Traffic Order under Sections 32, 35, 124 of, and Parts I to IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended and all other enabling powers.
2. The general effect of the Order would be:-

(a) to designate the stretch of College Road, Croydon, running between its junction with the east to west arm of College Road and the entrance to Croydon College Car Park as an off-street car park;
(b) to require that all vehicles parked in a parking space within the car park are left in accordance with the signs or surface markings for that parking space and where such a marking or sign indicates that a parking bay or area Is available only for a particular type of vehicle or use, no person shall leave a vehicle in any such parking bay or area other than of the type or for the use so specified;
(c) to require all vehicles to park within the marked parking places and enable enforcement action if they are parked outside a parking place within the car park;
(d) to provide that the regulations governing the use of off street parking places now apply to the car park mentioned above.

Copies of the proposed Order and all related documents can be inspected until the last day of a period of six weeks beginning with the date on which the Order was made or, as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Order, from 9am to 4pm, on Mondays to Fridays inclusive at the Enquiry Counter, "Access Croydon" Facility, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CRO 1EA.

Persons desiring to object to the proposed Order should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof to the Order Making Section, 6th Floor, Zone C, Bernard Wetherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CRO 1 EA, or email Parking.Design@croydon.gov.uk quoting the reference PD/CH/D2 by 07 February 2018.
6. The Order is intended to designate the stretch of College Road, Croydon, running between its junction with the east to west arm of College Road and the entrance to Croydon College Car Park as an off-street car park. Creating an enforceable off-street car park will ensure that Penalty Charge Notices can be issued for parking in the road or for unauthorized parking in the delineated bays, which will ensure that access to Croydon College car park and the adjacent UKPN substation is unobstructed and also allow access for construction vehicles involved in the College Green development.

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate Thames Water installation works, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic movements in Haling Down Passage, Purley.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed in Haling Down Passage at its junction with Biddulph Road.
3. The Order will come into operation on 01 February 2018 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in 3 days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.
4. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF PEDESTRIAN AND VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate a new electrical connection, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict pedestrian and vehicular traffic movements in Fawcett Road, Croydon.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place;
(a) The north to south arm of Fawcett Road will be closed;
(b) the pedestrian footpath will be closed outside no.47
3. Whilst the closure remains in force the alternative route for diverted traffic will be via local streets as appropriately signed.
4. The Order will come into operation on 01 February 2018 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in 11 days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place no person shall proceed along Church Path footpath between Tamworth Road, Croydon and North End, Croydon.
3. The Order will come into operation on 01 February 2018 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in one week. However, the Order will remain in force for 6 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.
4. The prohibition will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.
