(C2175 Seafield Lane, Portway)(Temporary
Closure) Order 2017
Order made: to close that part of Seafield Lane, Portway from its junction with U23602 Billesley Lane for a distance of 330 metres in a southerly direction in order to facilitate safety work on overhead structure by A-Plant Lux.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: U23602 Billesley Lane, A435 Alcester Road, A435 Slip Road off Penn Lane, C2292 Penn Lane, C2292 Alcester Road, U23604 Whitepits Lane, C2292 Alcester Road and A435 Alcester Road. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days Commencing: 15 January 2018.
(Footpath WY-569, Wythall)(Temporary Closure
Order) 2017
Order made: to close Footpath WY-569, Wythall from its junction with Three Oaks Road to its junction with Littleshaw Lane in to facilitate resurfacing and kerb replacement works.
Exemptions: to permitaccess to any land or premises havingafrontage to the highwayaffected where there is no other form ofaccess; and to allow the necessary works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: Littleshaw Lane, Station Road, Lea Green Lane, Three Oaks Road and vice versa. The proposed Order will continue in force for a period not exceeding 6 months or until the works which it is proposed to be carried out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. However, it is anticipated that the Order will only be operative for 2 weeks commencing on 15 January 2018.
Worcestershire County Council (Grove Street, Alcester Street and Church Green East, Redditch) (One-Way Traffic) and (Church Green East, Redditch) (Prohibition of Driving) Order 2017 On 28 December 2017 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect ofwhich will be to impose a one way traffic Order on the following road in Redditch:- Grove Street from a point 42 metres south westofits junction with Red Lion Street to its junction with Alcester Street. Traffic may only proceed in asouth westerlydirection. Alcester Street from its junction with Grove Streetto its junction with Church Green East. Traffic may only proceed in a north westerly direction. Church Green East from its junction with Alcester Street to its junction with Peakman Street. Traffic may only proceed in a northerly direction. The Order will not apply to road cleansing vehicles. The Council are also to consider imposing prohibition of driving on the following road:- Church Green East at a point 30 metres north of its junction with Peakman Street. The Order will not apply to road cleansing vehicles. The Order will come into operation on 18 January 2018. A copy of the Order, relevant map and Statement of Reasons for making the Order may be inspected at Worcester City Council, Customer Service Centre, The Hive, Sawmill Walk, The Butts, Worcester, WR1 3PB and County Hall, Spetchley Road, Worcester, WR5 2NP during normal office hours. The validity of the Council's powers in making the Order or this exercise of them may be questioned by application to the High Court within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made.
