ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -SECTION 14 THE M62 MOTORWAY (JUNCTIONS 7-6 WESTBOUND CARRIAGEWAY & SLIP ROADS & LINK ROAD)
[TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2018
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Highways England Company Limited (Company No. 09346363) has made an Order on the M62 Motorway in the Borough of Halton in the County of Cheshire to enable the maintenance of traffic signs and signals, together with other general maintenance works; to be carried out in safety. The Order will ban all traffic from the following sections of the M62 Motorway:
i the westbound carriageway, from the last point of the exit slip road at Junction 7, to the first point of the entry slip road at Junction 6 (Tarbock Island);
ii the westbound entry slip road at Junction 7;
iii the westbound exit slip at Junction 6;
iv the designated link road, from the M62 westbound carriageway, to the M57 northbound carriageway.
The prohibitions are expected to be in place over two nights between 2200 hours and 0300 hours during a period starting on Monday 22 January 2018 and ending on Wednesday 24 January 2018. However, works may start and continue between the same times on subsequent nights until completed. Diversions routes via alternative junctions of the M62 Motorway and local roads will be well signed. The prohibitions will not apply to emergency services, works, winter maintenance, or traffic officer vehicles and will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.
