ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -SECTION 14(1)(a) THE A36 TRUNK ROAD (B3110 FROME ROAD TO A350 BATH ROAD ROUNDABOUT) (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION AND PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2018
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Highways England Company Limited (a) intends to make an Order on the A36 trunk road from the B3110 to the A350 in the Counties of Somerset and Wiltshire to allow resurfacing, road markings, road studding, surveys and associated maintenance works to be carried out in safety. The works are expected to take place over night (8pm - 6am) commencing on or after 23 January 2018 and be completed by 2 March 2018.

The effect of the Order would be to:
(a) impose a temporary 40 mph speed limit on the A36 from the B3100 Frome Road Junction to the A350 Bath Road Roundabout
(b) impose a temporary 30 mph speed limit on the above length of the A36;
(c) impose a 10 miles per hour speed limit while convoy working is taking place on the above length of the A36;

The speed limits (which would not apply to emergency service or special forces), would be clearly indicated by traffic signs throughout the works and would only apply when traffic management measures are in place. The Order would come into force on 21 January 2018 and have a maximum duration of 18 months. Ref: 003/18

THE A36 TRUNK ROAD (DEPTFORD TO WILTON) (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION AND PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2018
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Highways England Company Limited (a) has made an Order on the A36 trunk road from Deptford to Wilton in the County of Wiltshire to allow resurfacing, road markings, loop cutting, surveys, rail bridge repairs and associated maintenance works to be carried out in safety.
The works are expected to take place over night (8pm - 6am) commencing on or after 10 January 2018 and be completed by 28 February 2018.

The effect of the Order will be to:
(a) authorise the overnight closure of the A36 from Deptford Junction to Wilton Roundabout;
(b) authorise the overnight closure of the A36 entry slip road from the A303 at Deptford Junction;
(c) authorise the closure of the laybys adjacent to the above section of the A303.
(d) impose a temporary 40 mph speed limit on the above length of the A36;
(e) impose a temporary 30 mph speed limit on the above length of the A36;
(f) impose a 10 miles per hour speed limit while convoy working is taking place on the above
length of the A36;

During the closure described at (a) above traffic will be diverted via the A303 and A360. Access to and from premises that are accessible from and only from the A36 will be maintained during the works.
The closures (which will not apply to emergency service or works vehicles), speed limits and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs throughout the works and will only apply when traffic management measures are in place.
