The Church Commissioners have prepared a draft Pastoral Church Buildings Scheme providing for, amongst other things, the church of St Kenelm, Sapperton, being the parish church of the parish of Sapperton with Frampton Mansell in the diocese of Gloucester, to be declared closed for regular public worship and vested in the Churches Conservation Trust for care and maintenance. A copy of the draft Scheme may be inspected at the church of St Kenelm, Sapperton. You may also access the draft Scheme on the Commissioners' website at www.ccpastoral.org or obtain or inspect a copy during normal office hours by applying to the Commissioners. You may make representations either for or against all or any part of the draft Scheme in writing to Rex Andrew, Pastoral Division, Church Commissioners, Church House, Great Smith Street, London, SW1P 3AZ or by email to rex.andrew@churchofengland.org to reach him not later than 7 December 2015.

A drop-in session will take place on Thursday 12 November 2015 at Sapperton Village Hall, Main Street, Sapperton GL7 6LE between 3pm and 7pm at which a member of the Commissioners' staff will be available to explain the impact of the proposed future use of the building and discuss any issues or concerns which those attending may raise.
