THE HERTFORDSHIRE (TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN TROTTERS BOTTOM, BARNET) ORDER 2017
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14[1] of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all traffic from using that length of Trotters Bottom, Barnet from its junction with Galley Lane north eastwards, eastwards and north eastwards to its junction with the A1081 St Albans Road/Dancers Hill Road roundabout (“the Road”), a distance of approximately 1541 metres. An alternative route will be via Galley Lane, A411 Wood Street, A1000 High Street and A1081 St Albans Road. ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. The Order has been made and shall come into force on 3 January 2018 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road. A copy of the Order may be inspected free of charge at County Hall, Hertford between the hours of 9.00am and 5.00pm (excluding weekends, bank and public holidays).
