1. PROPOSAL TO ENLARGE THE PREMISES OF LOW ASH PRIMARY SCHOOL
Notice is given in accordance with section 19(1) of the Education and Inspections Act 2006 that the City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council intends to make a prescribed alteration to Low Ash Primary School, Wrose Road, Shipley BD18 1AA with effect from 1 September 2019. The proposal is to enlarge the premises of the school by increasing the capacity.
The current capacity of the school is 420 and the proposed capacity will be 630. The current number of pupils registered at the school is 422. The current admission number for the school is 60 and the proposed admission number for September 2019 is 90.
2. PROPOSAL FOR ALTERING THE AGE RANGE AT
CARLTON BOLLING COLLEGE BY REMOVING 6TH FORM PROVISION
Notice is given in accordance with section 19(1) of the Education and Inspections Act 2006 that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council intends to make a prescribed alteration to Carlton Bolling College, Undercliffe Lane, Bradford, BD3 0DU from 1 September 2018. The College currently caters for pupils aged 11 to 18 (inclusive) and the proposal is to alter the age range to 11 to 16 (inclusive) by removing 6th form provision.
These proposals are not related.
