ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL
MICKLETHWAITE LANE, MICKLETHWAITE TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO 782) ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason to enable water works proposed to be executed on or near Micklethwaite Lane, Micklethwaite intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Micklethwaite Lane from its junction with The Drive to a point outside No. 27 Micklethwaite Lane. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Micklethwaite Lane (unaffected section), Sty Lane, Greenhill Lane, Lady Lane, Park Road, Main Street, Keighley Road and vice versa. The proposed Order will come into effect at 08:00 hours on 15th January 2018 and remain in force until 20:00 on 19th January 2018 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
