ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL
BACK LANE BURLEY IN WHARFEDALE TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO 781) ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason to enable water works proposed to be executed on or near Back Lane, Burley in Wharfedale intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Back Lane, Burley in Wharfdale from its junction with Norwood Terrace to its junction with Main Street. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Back Lane (unaffected section), Langford Lane, Lawn Avenue and vice versa.
The proposed Order will come into effect on 15th January 2018 and remain in force until 28th February 2018 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary). DATED this 4th day of January 2018.
