The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in excess of 30mph on the A417 Reading Road from its junction with Charlton Court eastwards for approximately 1 kilometre towards the unnamed road to West Lockinge. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. The relevant part of the Oxfordshire County Council (A4I7 Wantage - Reading Road and Ardington, Lockinge, East Hendred and West Hendred Parishes) (Speed Limits) Order 2015 shall be temporarily suspended in so far as it is affected by this order. This order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner.
