Herefordshire Council Notice of Making

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, under its relevant powers, have made the A480 from A44 to Stocks Lane, Lyonshall, Temporary Closure Order 2017 to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the following road: A480 from A44 to Stocks Lane at the junction with the C1031 OS Grid Ref: 333718 / 255539. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the A44 onto the A4112 and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to the essential repair of a manhole and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 14th January 2018 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 1 day.
