Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the C1185 from the B4352 to Brobury Lane, Bredwardine Temporary Closure Order 2017 to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles Either side of Bredwardine Bridge OS Grid Ref: 333673 / 244722. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the A438 onto the C1098 onto the C1191 onto the B4352 and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to the safe access to repair the bridge parapet wall follwing damage from impact and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 15th January 2018 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 2 days.
