HOLES BAY ROAD ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991
THE POOLE (HOLES BAY ROAD) (TEMPORARY SPEED RESTRICTION) ORDER 2018
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Borough and County of the Town of Poole, the Highway Authority is satisfied that traffic on the said road should be restricted and has made an Order, the effect of which is that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed at a speed greater than 30mph on the following section of road:

Holes Bay Road from the Railway Bridge on Holes Bay Road to the junction of Sterte Road and Holes Bay Road The proposed temporary restriction is required in order to reduce vehicle speeds to create a safer environment while work is being undertaken to the carriageway The proposed Order is effective from Tuesday 2 January 2018 until Wednesday 31 March 2018. The Order is operative for the period mentioned above but will continue in force for the statutory period of eighteen months if required.
If the works are not completed within the statutory period the Order may be extended with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport
Any person who uses or permits the use of a vehicle in contravention of the Order will be liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding £400.
