Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: C323 Rectory Hill (Part), West Dean; for a distance of approximately 35m either side of the railway level crossing to enable Centurion Site Services to undertake maintenance work on the level crossing. Alternative route via C323 Rectory Hill (unaffected length) - C323 Dean Road - Coach Road - East Tytherley Road - East Dean Road - C323 Rectory Hill (unaffected length) and vice versa. The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation on 22 January 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required nightly between the hours of 23.30 and 05.30 until 26 January 2018. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: C25 (Part), Hindon; from its junction with B3089 for a distance of approximately 700m in a northerly direction to enable BT Openreach to repair a faulty aerial cable. Alternative route via C25 Hindon (unaffected length) -A303 - Unclassified Road (Chicklade Bottom Farm to The Vicarage, Hindon) - B3089 and vice versa. The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation on 25 January 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required between the hours of 09.00 and 16.30 for two days. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months.
