Temporary Closure of Court Hill, Corscombe

Dorset County Council Temporary Closure of Court Hill, Corscombe
DORSET COUNTY COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along COURT HILL, CORSCOMBE from outside 14 Court Hill to the junction with Norwood Lane, a distance of approximately 52 metres. The order is needed in order to comply with Health and Safety Regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to Highway Users. It will come into operation on 15th January 2018 and will remain in force for 18 months. However it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 23rd February 2018.
This order will enable Wessex Water safe access to lay a new water main in the highway.
An alternative vehicular route will be signed using; Court Hill - A356 - Hackney -Lovelands - Rye Water Lane - Halstock - Corscombe Road.

Temporary Parking Restriction, Wyke Road, Weymouth

DORSET COUNTY COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. The order is needed in order to comply with Health and Safety Regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to Highway Users. The order will come into operation at 00:01hrs on the 02nd January 2018, and will remain in force for 18 months. However it is anticipated that the works will be completed by the 26th January 2018 at 23:59hrs. The order is to allow I & G Contractors on behalf of Southern Gas Networks, a safe working area to install a new gas main, and allow traffic flow to be maintained. The effect of the order is as follows;
[A] To impose a temporary parking restriction and clearway on WYKE ROAD, WEYMOUTH from the junction with Rodwell Road to the junction with Portmore Gardens, a distance of approximately 120 metres.

Temporary Closure of St Thomas Street, Weymouth

DORSET COUNTY COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [I] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along St Thomas Street, Weymouth from the junction with New Bond Street, to the junction with St Edmund Street, Weymouth, a distance of approximately 235 metres. The order is needed in order to comply with Health and Safety Regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to Highway Users. It will come into operation on 2nd January 2018 and will remain in force for 18 months. However it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 23rd February 2018.
This order will enable Wessex Water safe access to carry out the installation of a new water main. On this occasion no alternative route woill be available, however access will be maintained.

Temporary Closure of New Bond Street, Weymouth
DORSET COUNTY COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [I] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along NEW BOND STREET, WEYMOUTH from the junction with St Thomas Street, to the junction with St Nicholas Street, Weymouth, a distance of approximately 40 metres. The order is needed in order to comply with Health and Safety Regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to Highway Users. It will come into operation on 2nd January 2018 and will remain in force for 18 months. However it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 23rd February 2018. This order will enable Wessex Water to carry out water main replacement works and for storage throughout the St Thomas Street scheme.
