OXFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

(BICESTER AREA) (SPEED LIMITS) ORDER 20**

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Oxfordshire County Council proposes to make the above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers.

The effect of the order is to introduce a 40mph speed limit on the A41 and A4421 in the vicinity of the roundabout junction with the B4100 London Road, replacing the existing 50mph speed limit on the A41 southeast of the roundabout and the A4421 Neunkirchen Way/Seelscheid Way, and replacing a length of national speed limit on the A41 northwest of the roundabout. This relates to local development and associated roundabout improvements.

The existing (Bicester Area) (Speed limits) Order 2017 will be revoked and replaced by this new order. Documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order are available for public inspection online by visiting: https://consultations.oxfordshire.gov.uk, or in person at County Hall, New Road, Oxford, OX1 1ND, between 8.30am & 4.30pm Monday to Friday; and at Bicester Library, Franklins House, Wesley Lane, OX26 6JU, from 9.30am to 7pm Monday, Wednesday & Thursday, 9.30am to 5pm Tuesday & Friday, and from 9am to 4.30pm Saturday.

Objections to the proposals and other representations specifying the grounds on which they are made may be sent in writing to the address below (or via the web address above) by no later than 26 January 2018. The Council will consider objections and representations received in response to this Notice. They may be disseminated widely for these purposes and made available to the public. (Ref.
