(SUNNINGWELL PARISH) (SPEED LIMITS) ORDER 2017 (WOOTTON, ABINGDON) (SPEED LIMITS) ORDER 2017
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on 11 December 2017 Oxfordshire County Council made the above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers.
The orders, which come into force on 18 December 2017 revoke and replace the existing Oxfordshire County Council (Sunningwell Parish) (Speed Limits) Order 2014 and the Oxfordshire County Council (Wootton - Abingdon) (Speed Limits) Order 2014, the effects being as follows: The existing 40mph speed limit for Foxcombe Road over Boars Hill has been reduced to 30mph.This starts Oxford side of Red Copse Lane and continues over the hill into Fox Lane past the Fox public house. Berkeley Road also becomes 30mph to near the Jarn Way junction, as well as the first 158 metres of Bayworth Lane. Documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order are available for public inspection in person at County Hall, New Road, Oxford, OX1 1ND, between 8.30am & 4.30pm Monday to Friday; at Wootton Post Office, Besselsleigh Road, OX13 6DN, from 9am to 5.30pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday, and from 9am to 12.30pm Wednesday and Saturday; and at Kennington Village Hall Library, OX1 5PG, from 2pm to 5.30pm Monday, 10am to 12.30pm Wednesday, 2pm to 7pm Friday, and from 10am to 1pm Saturday.
