(Footpath and Cyclepath) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of ECN07069 (Riverside Walk), Chelmsford (Footpath and Cyclepath), in the City of Chelmsford, from the junction with Victoria Road footpath for a distance of approximately 150m in a southwesterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 25th December 2017 for 6 months, or where stated on a valid permit (EP02231001863 -Chelmsford City Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while site access works are undertaken by Chelmsford City Council.
An alternative route is available via Victoria Road, Waterloo Lane, Ecn 07069 and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 25th December 2017 and may continue in force for 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
