PROPOSED EXTENSION OF LLOYD PARK CAR PARK, CROYDON The Croydon (Off Street Parking Places) (Limited Time) (No. B54) Traffic Order 20-
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council propose to make the above Traffic Order under Sections 32, 35, 124 of, and Parts I to IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended and all other enabling powers.
2. The general effect of the Order would be to amend the area of Lloyd Park car park, as described in the Traffic Order, to include the new car park
to the north of the tennis courts, constructed as part of the National Grid tunnel works. Parking arrangements within the amended car park would remain the same (a maximum stay of 3 hours, no return within 1 hour, on a 24 hour basis).
3. Copies of the proposed Order and all related documents can be inspected until the last day of a period of six weeks beginning with the date on which the Order was made or, as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Order, between 9am and 4pm, Mondays to Fridays inclusive at the Enquiry Counter, "Access Croydon" Facility, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CRO 1EA.

5. Persons desiring to object to the proposed Order should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof to the Parking Design Section, Place Department, 6* Floor, Zone C, Bernard Weatherill House,

6. The Order is intended to amend the area of Lloyd Park car park, as described in the Traffic Order, to include the new car park to the north of the tennis courts, constructed as part of the National Grid tunnel works. This will to enable the car park to be effectively enforced and ensure a regular turnover of spaces for users of the park's facilities.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984 SECTION 14, AS AMENDED AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS. TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate gas connection works, they have made an Order the effect of which will be to:
d) temporarily introduce banned turns, waiting restrictions and parking bay suspensions at any time should this be required;
e) Any other temporary traffic management measures as required to facilitate the gas connection works.
2. Wherever the work happens to be in progress in those streets or lengths of streets specified in the Schedule to this Notice, no person may cause or permit any vehicle to
(a) proceed in a direction other than that indicated by a traffic sign, or
(b) proceed in any street or length of street which may at the time be subject to a road closure until the completion of the work allows.
3. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction on waiting imposed by this Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
4. During the prohibitions referred to in paragraphs 1 and 2 above, displaced traffic will be diverted via local streets as appropriate.
5. The Order will come into operation on the 14 December 2017 and will remain in force for a period of 18 months.
(Note: The provisions of the Order will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs, Regulations and General Directions 2002. Access for frontagers will be maintained as far as possible whilst the work proceeds).

THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS BUCKINGHAM AVENUE, THORNTON HEATH TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate a service pipe repair in the carriageway, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic movements and parking in Buckingham Avenue, Thornton Heath.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place;
(a) Buckingham Avenue will be closed outside no.43;
(b) temporary waiting and loading restrictions will be introduced outside Nos.6 to 8 Buckingham Avenue on both sides.
3. Whilst the closure remains in force the alternative route for diverted traffic will be via local streets as appropriately signed.
4. The Order will come into operation on 18 December 2017 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in 1 day. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

VARIOUS STREETS IN BROAD GREEN - TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate gas mains replacement works in Croydon, they intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to:
(a) temporarily close to vehicular traffic those streets or lengths of streets specified in the Schedule to this Notice;
(b) temporarily close any adjoining streets to those mentioned in the Schedule to vehicular traffic where this is considered necessary to facilitate the work in progress; and
(c) temporarily introduce banned turns, footway closures or waiting and loading restrictions at any time should this be required;
(d) introduce any other traffic management measures as required to facilitate gas main replacement works.
2. Wherever the work happens to be in progress in those streets or lengths of streets specified in the Schedule to this Notice, no person may cause or permit any vehicle to
(a) proceed in a direction other than that indicated by a traffic sign, or
(b) proceed in any street or length of street which may at the time be subject to a road closure until the completion of the work allows.
3. Whilst the provisions of the Order remain in force, waiting or loading by vehicles will be prohibited at any time in those streets or lengths of streets specified where work is in progress. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction on waiting imposed by this Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
