PUBLIC NOTICE Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (C2115 Peopleton to A422 Upton Snodsbury, Peopleton) (Temporary Closure) Order 2017
Order made: to close that part of C2115 Peopleton to A422 Upton Snodsbury, Peopleton from its junction with U47402 Monks Way for a distance of 560 metres in a northerly direction in order to facilitate Severn Trent works. Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: C2115 Peopleton to A422 Upton Snodsbury, C2115 Peopleton Lane, A442 Broughton Hackett to Upton Snodsbury, A442 Alcester Road, A442 Spetchley Cross Ross, A44 Evesham Road, A44 Evesham Road Egdon to Stonebow Road, A44 Worcester Road, C2115 Stonebow to Peopleton, C2115 Main Street and vice versa. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days Commencing: 18 December 2017. (C2024 Pensax, Abberley)(Temporary Closure) Order 2017 Order made: to close that part of C2024 Pensax, Abberley from its junction with B4202 Pensax to its junction with C2192 Pensax Common in order to facilitate BT Openreach works. Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: C2024 Stockton, A443 Stockton, A443 Stockton Road, A443 Elms Green, A443 Stockton Road, C2230 The Common, B4202 Clows Top Road, B4202 Pensax and vice versa. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 4 days Commencing: 18 December 2017. (C2064 Stocks Road, Alfrick)(Temporary Closure) Order 2017 Proposed Order: to close that part of C2064 Stocks Road, Alfrick from its junction with C2233 Alfrick to its junction with U62219 Blackhouse Lane in order to facilitate carriageway pre-surfacing works by WCC. Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: C2064 Longley Green to Stocks Lane Alfrick, C2064 Longley Green, C2064 Malvern ills Boundary to Longley Green, C2070 Suckley, C2070 Suckley Road, C2065 Lulsley, C2065 Lulsley to Knightwick Road, C2065 Knightwick Road, C2065 Knightwick Road to Hopton Lane, C2245 Hopton Lane, C2064 Stitchins Hill, C2064 Bridges Stone, C2064 Alfrick Pound and vice versa.. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days (within a 2 week period). Commencing: 8 January 2018. (Footpath KP-573, Kempsey)(Temporary Closure Order) 2017 Order made: to close part of Footpath KP-573, Kempsey for its entire length. The Order has been made due to construction site works and the likelihood of danger to the public. There are exemptions in the Order to permit access to any land or premises having a frontage to the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the necessary works to be undertaken. Alternative route: C2208 Post Office Lane, U60032 Oakfield Drive, U60034 Napleton Lane and vice versa. The proposed Order will continue in force for a period not exceeding 6 months or until the works which it is proposed to be carried out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. However, it is anticipated that the Order will only be operative for 6 months commencing on 20 December 2017. (Lambert Road, Worcester)(Temporary Closure) Order 2017 Proposed Order: to close that part of Lambert Road, Worcester from its junction with Happy Land West to its junction with Comer Road in order to facilitate footway reconstruction and kerb replacement works by WCC. Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: Happy Land West, A44 Bromyard Road, Comer Road and vice versa. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 6 days Commencing: 9 January 2018. (City of Worcester) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2011 (Variation) Order 2017 [Prohibition of Waiting and Revocation of Restriction of Waiting on Ferry Close, Worcester] On 30 November 2017 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to replace restriction of waiting Monday - Friday 10.00am - 4.00pm with prohibition of waiting at any time on the following length and side of road in Worcester: Ferry Close (north west side) from its junction with Henwick Road for a distance of 74.6 metres in a south westerly direction, and then south easterly, then north easterly direction to the extent of the turning point.


The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons’ vehicles. The Order will come into operation on 21 December 2017. A copy of the Order, relevant map and Statement of Reasons for making the Order may be inspected at Worcester City Council, Customer Service Centre, The Hive, Sawmill Walk, The Butts, Worcester, WR1 3PB and County Hall, Spetchley Road, Worcester, WR5 2NP during normal office hours. The validity of the Council’s powers in making the Order or this exercise of them may be questioned by application to the High Court within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made. Worcestershire County Council (Mill Street, Worcester) (One-Way Traffic) Order 2017 On 30 November 2017 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to impose a one way traffic Order on the following road in Worcester:- Mill Street from its junction with Portland Street to its junction with Willow Street. Traffic may only proceed in a north westerly then south westerly direction. The Order will not apply to road cleansing vehicles.The Order will come into operation on 21 December 2017. A copy of the Order, relevant map and Statement of Reasons for making the Order may be inspected at Worcester City Council, Customer Service Centre, The Hive, Sawmill Walk, The Butts, Worcester, WR1 3PB and County Hall, Spetchley Road, Worcester, WR5 2NP during normal office hours. The validity of the Council’s powers in making the Order or this exercise of them may be questioned by application to the High Court within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made. (City of Worcester) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2011 (Variation) Order 2017 [Limited Waiting Except for Permit Holders and Revocation of Limited Waiting on Henwick Road, Worcester] Worcestershire County Council are to consider making an Order the effect of which will be to replace limited waiting 2 hours no return within 2 hours 8.00am - 8.00pm with limited waiting 2 hours no return within 2 hours 8.00am - 8.00pm except permit holders on the following length and side of road in Worcester:- Henwick Road (east side) from a point 117.2 metres north of its junction with Himbleton Road to a point 180.4 metres north of that junction. The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons’ vehicles. A copy of the draft Order, relevant plan and Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected at Worcester City Council, Customer Service Centre, The Hive, Sawmill Walk, The Butts, Worcester, WR1 3PB, and County Hall, Spetchley Road, Worcester, WR5 2NP during normal office hours. (City of Worcester) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2011 (Variation) Order 2017 [Prohibition of Waiting and Resident/Visitor Permit Holders Only Parking on Merrimans’s Walk and Lansdowne Road, Worcester] Worcestershire County Council are to consider making an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following lengths and sides of roads in Worcester: Merriman’s Walk (east side) from its junction with Lansdowne Road for a distance of 10.3 metres in a northerly direction; (west side) from its junction with Lansdowne Road for a distance of 10.6 metres in a northerly direction. Lansdowne Road (north side) from its junction with Merriman’s Walk for a distance of 11.5 metres in an easterly direction and 9 metres in a westerly direction. Impose Resident/Visitor Permit Holders Only Parking – Lansdowne Road (north side) from a point 9 metres west of its junction with Merriman’s Walk for a distance of 23.8 metres in a westerly direction The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons’ vehicles.
