Herefordshire Council Notice of Making
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, under its relevant powers, have made the C1223 Kerrys Gate To Canns Hill Road, Abbeydore, Temporary Closure Order 2017 to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the following road: C1223 Kerrys Gate To Canns Hill Road at Canns Hill OS Grid Ref: 339652 / 231801. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the C1225 onto the B4347 onto the C1224 and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to the renewal of a fire hydrant and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 18th December 2018 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
