OXFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14(1)
Notice of Temporary Traffic Order Baulking Lane near Faringdon - Rail Bridge Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 8 December 2017 Coming into force: 12 December 2017 This Order is being introduced because of overhead line electrification works which are anticipated to take until the 18 February 2018 to complete. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding over the bridge on the section of road between Baulking Lane & Station Road. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to property up to the point of closure. The alternative route for traffic is via Baulking Lane, unnamed road towards Kingston Lisle, Fawler Road, Station Road and vice-versa.

This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner.
