Temporary Closure of Haye Lane, Lyme Regis
DORSET COUNTY COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along HAYE LANE, LYME REGIS between Haye Farm and Haye Close a distance of approximately 40 metres. The order is needed in order to comply with Health and Safety Regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to Highway Users. It will come into operation on 11th December 2017 and will remain in force for 18 months. However it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 20th December 2017. This order will enable Western Power Distribution safe access to carry out trench works in the highway to lay new electricity cable and connect up pole. Temporary Closure of Hooke Road, Beaminster DORSET COUNTY COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along HOOKE ROAD, BEAMINSTER from the junction with B3163 Whitcombe Road to the junction of Higher Street (access road to Hooke Court), a distance of approximately 2500 metres. The order is needed in order to comply with Health and Safety Regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to Highway Users. It will come into operation on 11 December 2017 between 0900 and 1600 and will remain in force for 18 months. However it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 22 December 2017. This order will enable British Telecom safe access to carry out tree cutting in association with the Superfast Broadband extension project.
