Notice ID: BR3358587DARLINGTON BOROUGH COUNCIL (VARIOUS ROADS) ORDER 2017 Notice is hereby given that Darlington Borough Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 1, 2, 4, 32, 35, 45, 46, 47, 49, 53 and 84 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of the Traffic Management Act 2004. The effect of the Order will be as follows:- 1. To introduce No Stopping at School Entrance Mon-Fri 8am-4pm on the north side of Parkside - from a point 23m west of its junction with Kingsbury Mews westwards for a distance of 37.56m. 2. To change the restrictions on the Town Hall Access Road and part of Feethams from no waiting to no waiting and no loading/unloading at any time. 3. To introduce no waiting at any time in parts of Abbey Road, Barlow Street, Chandos Street, Cleveland Avenue, Clifton Avenue, Clifton Road, Corporation Road, Craig Street, Geneva Road, Greenbank Road, Huntley Street, Longfield Road, Mowden Street, Mowden Terrace, Salisbury Terrace, St Edwin’s Close (High Coniscliffe), The Green (High Coniscliffe), Tubwell Row South Back, Westbourne Grove, Westbrook Terrace, Widdowfield Street, Wilkes Street and Woodland Terrace; and to remove the restriction from part of Yarm Road. 4. To remove the Residents Parking restriction on the west side of Neasham Road from its junction with Geneva Lane to a point 10m northwards; and to introduce no waiting at any time in that road from a point 2m to a point 10m north of its junction with Geneva Lane. 5. To introduce Residents Parking all days 8am-6pm to parts of:- Mowden Street, Mowden Terrace and Westbrook Terrace - Zone C; Craig Street, Orchard Road, Vancouver Street, Vine Street – Zone E; Huntley Street – Zone G; Cleveland Avenue, Uplands Road – Zone J Arnold Road – Zone M The charges for permits are £12 for three months; £24 for six months; and £40 for a year. The additional properties eligible for permits in Zone C will be:- Mowden Terrace – 1-41 odds and 2-66 evens Westbrook Terrace – 1-9 odds Wilkes Street – 2-4 evens Numbers 46 and 48 Cleveland Avenue will no longer be eligible for permits in Zone J. 6. To introduce loading bays to the south side of Yarm Road from a point 9.4m west of the western boundary 2 Yarm Road eastwards for a distance of 12m. 7. To introduce 2 hour limited waiting Mon-Fri 9am-5pm on the north side of Westbrook Terrace from a point 20m west of Westbrook westwards for a distance of 10m. 8. To introduce a prohibition of driving in Tubwell Row South Back from the eastern boundary 36a Tubwell Row westwards for a distance of 1m. 9. To remove the derestriction of West Auckland Road from its junction with Rotary Way northwards for a distance of 182m; and to introduce a 50mph speed limit on that road from its junction with A1(M) to its junction with Rotary Way.
