Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: C1081 Little Sarnesfield To Sherrington Road, Broxwood , Temporary Road Closure Order to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the C1081 Little Sarnesfield To Sherrington Road, Broxwood, at the bridge over the brook. Grid Ref: 336701/254003. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the U91405 onto the U91404 onto the C1081 and vice versa. The said closure is required due to bridge repair works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 8th of January 2018 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
