Mission and Pastoral Measure 2011 The Church Commissioners have prepared a draft Pastoral Church Buildings Scheme providing solely for the church of St Luke, North Cowton, being one of the parish churches of the parish of The Cowtons in the diocese of Leeds, to be declared closed for regular public worship. A copy of the draft Scheme may be inspected at the church of St Luke, North Cowton. You may also access the draft Scheme on the Commissioners’ website at www.ccpastoral.org or obtain or inspect a copy during normal office hours by applying to the Commissioners. You may make representations either for or against all or any part of the draft Scheme in writing to Katie Lowe, Pastoral Division, Church Commissioners, Church House, Great Smith Street, London, SW1P 3AZ or by email to katie.lowe@churchofengland.org  to reach her no later than 8 January 2018. Those making representations should indicate whether they would like an opportunity to speak to the Committee regarding their representations in the event the Commissioners decide a hearing should be held regarding the case.
